I'm Ross Warren. And I remember saying, "I should have written that down" myself. But I never did anything about it until the best storyteller I've ever known, my father, had a stroke and lost his ability to speak. At that moment I knew what my life work would be: to help people capture their stories.

I've always been interested in history, the stories and happenings in the lives of the people around me and the people who have helped shape our nation. I'm a living history re-enactor myself and have worked on a documentary on the American Revolution. My background in still photography, production, and video is extensive and will be invaluable when we explore how to tell your family's story.

In your home, where you're most comfortable, over the course of a few hours, we'll have a conversation about what you love most--your family and friends. There won't be any surprises: This is your story, after all. And we'll be prepared ahead of time with a list of things that I've found folks are most excited to talk about. I'll make copies of any family photos or documents you'd like to include. In just a few weeks you'll have your own thiry- to sixty-minute Personal Video Biography, a living legacy to share with your family. In a world where time is scarce and everybody is scattered all across the county, your family's collected stories, photographs, and movies--your Personal Video Biography--can be the glue that holds your family together, now and on through the generations.
